Musical Stories: Tone Poems
$60
with Angela Lickiss Aleo
What is a tone poem? And what are they about? Tone poems are pieces of orchestral music that consist of a single movement. They have a narrative structure, usually based on a piece of literature, a painting, or some external source. There is usually an accompanying description of the piece, which may be a single word or a lengthy narrative. In these classes we will cover works by Liszt, Strauss, Sibelius, Debussy, and more.
