Horn Club - Winter/Spring

The Horn Club is an ensemble for horn players in the greater Grand Traverse area of Michigan. It is created to provide a space for horn players to express their musical talents and share enthusiasm for the horn. Players of all ages and levels of experience are welcome. Come join the horn fun!
Dates: January 8 and 22, February 5 and 19, March 5 and 19, April 2, 16, and 30, May 7 and 21
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Civic Cello Club

Calling all high school and adult cellists! The Traverse City Philharmonic Civic Program is offering a 4-week Cello Club in July 2025. This is a unique opportunity to play cello ensemble repertoire in an all-cello orchestra with mellow cello fellows from your community. Participants should be in 9th grade or older, possess solid technical and music-reading skills and have studied a minimum of 3+ years.
Rehearsals are 5:45 - 6:45 pm on Tuesdays July 8, 15, 22 & 29 at the Traverse City Philharmonic Center.
The concert will by Monday, August 4 at 7:00 pm at the Civic Center Stage.
Prelude Chamber Music - Fall Term

September 23 – December 4 | Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 pm
This program is for individuals who would like to play in a small ensemble, working on chamber music performing techniques and repertoire. Rehearsals focus on the concept of playing together in a different texture and sound, with one or two players on a part depending on the ensemble: duos, trios, quartets and larger groups. Prelude Chamber Music rehearses from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
